Making sustainability approachable

Our Sustainable Impact (OSI) is a platform that aims to make sustainability more approachable, highlight the people working in the field, ways to get involved and to collectively create tangible social impact. The focus of the conversation around sustainability tends to revolve around low-hanging fruit and green-washed or ‘sustainability’ washed marketing campaigns. By definition, sustainability involves meeting the needs of today without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs- for people, planet and prosperity. It is at the intersection of social, environmental and economics.
OSI aims to explore the intersections of sustainability, social media and social impact through digestible content and resources that encourage a lot more people to get involved in sustainability. Our goal was to be able to break down the various categories of information and share it in a fun and easy to understand way.
To communicate the important subject of sustainability and make it more approachable, we proposed a set of bright colours to establish an engaging platform. We created the OSI graphic as a fun visual to build brand awareness overtime and used different colour combinations to make the information highly-visual yet easily digestible.
